Academic of the Week Tess Akin Bauxite High School, Senior 3.86 GPA Parents are Michael &Tamara Akin Tess is a brilliant, young lady with an incredible work ethic! She consistently achieves at a high level in class not only due to her intelligence but also her drive and determination. Her hard work, and comprehension of complex ideas,make her an extremely successful student and leader in the classroom.Tess is an extremely dedicated student athlete who maintains her focus while participating in many activities. Extracurricular activities: Tess is the captain of the Bauxite High School Cheer Team and has been a cheerleader for all four years of high school. She has also participated in the Bauxite High School band for 4 years. She is a member of the track team and has been inducted into National Honor Society.
