What can your students expect from you? My students can expect us to leam a lot of many different things in my program. My program is unique because it's a hybrid of construction safety, career professionalism, drafting. precision measuring/construction math, woodworking, rough carpentry, residential electrical and finish carpentry through the two years. I ask all my students to come ready to make some saw dust and get their hands dirty but most importantly to have fun. 10.) What else do you want to say/share? Before I became a carpenter I worked as a welder building custom shooting ranges. I also worked as a form carpenter designing and building custom architectural concrete products. My most recent role was working as a finish carpenter remodeling and building stores around the country for Apple, Pottery Barn and Williams-Sonoma. 6.) Why did you get into your field? I got into my field because I love being a craftsman. I am passionate about the building process no matter how big or small a project is. I take a lot of pride in my skillset and build things to a high quality that will last. 7.) Why are you teaching at SCCTC? I chose to teach at SCCTC because I want to share my love of my industry and being a craftsman with those up and coming in the industry. I want to help steer them in the right direction to find that same fire. 8.) What are you most excited for about the new school? I am most excited about the fact that SCCTC is a blank SCCTC...
