After working several years for Huey's FINA, James Posey bought the business from Ervin on January 1st, 1988, which shortly therafter turned into Posey's 66, located in the heart of downtown Benton (across the street from the Saline County Courthouse). The location was perfect, being the oldest still-operational gas station in Benton (the building was originally a City Service Gas Station in the '30s) and the wonderful people of Benton immediately supported him and his venture.
