Academic of the Week Ryan Taneja Benton High School Senior 4.1818 GPA Parent is Mini Taneja Ryan Taneja is an outstanding person. In- School, he is taking a very rigorous course load involving numerous challenging AP courses and excels. Outside of school, while studying for his classes takes up a big portion of his time, Ryan always makes time for his family, extracurricular activities, and additional responsibilities. From using his junior fundraiser as an opportunity to help the homeless to advocating for policy change and helping make Arkansas a better place, Ryan never stops from helping his community in any way possible. He goes to numerous events and competitions around the state. He even dedicated four weeks of his summer this year to go represent Ben- ton at Governors School at Arkansas Tech. Ryan is in numerous extracurricular activi- ties. He is a championed varsity debater who is the president of the Benton High School Debate Team. He is the head del- egate of the Model United Nations Club. He is the Vice-President of his school's chapter of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA). He serves as a representative on Benton's Mayor's Youth Advisory Council and is involved in much more. He is not only heavily involved in numerous extracurricular activities as mentioned above, but he has also played a pivotal role in helping some of them grow.
